Three Point Strategy: Wholistic Evangelism
Central and Michigan Mission Field

“…Stewardship and discipleship cannot be divided and are dependent upon each other.” (D&C 162:7c) Our field strategy embraces this counsel and acknowledges that our missionary outreach is birthed from our interwoven discipleship and stewardship. “There are many lives waiting to hear the redeeming words of the gospel or to be lifted from hopelessness by the hands of loving servants but they will be lost to you without the generous response of disciples who share from their own bounty that others may know the joys of the kingdom.” (D&C 162:7a)
The nine lettered statements in the downloadable file are the Central and Michigan Mission Field’s guiding principles for living out our field strategy of wholistic evangelism both individually and collectively. These guiding principles were used to write the field goals for the field financial officer, field missionary coordinator, and the field apostle which follow each principle. These guiding principles should also be used to frame goal setting in mission centers, congregations, and individual ministry plans.
